Former Clippers Mainstay Feels Lakers Demoted Themselves During the Course of NBA 2021-22 Season: “They Don’t Have Their Idea”

Jamal Crawford retracted his statement after the Los Angeles Lakers’ performance

It is interesting to mention that Crawford came up with a prediction regarding the Lakers’ performance during the start of the season. Specifically, he stated, “The Brooklyn Nets are my favorites barring injuries, winning it all, but the Lakers will come out the West.”

Through this, it seemed as if he was expecting more from the Lakers. In the discussion, it was noted that he had high expectations at the start of the season. The Laker’s performance has led him to change his mind about taking their side. He said, “They don’t have their idea”. In conclusion, he decided to go with the Phoenix Suns. As he mentioned, the Suns know what it takes. 

The Lakers have made 30 appearances in the NBA finals based on their past performance and history. They are expected to be the best. The team has struggled to get things going and injuries and inconsistency have played a role in their decline.
