Shaquille O’Neal and Candace Parker have become television favorites with their hilarious jokes and actions. There is a reason why this pairing is everyone’s favorite on the “NBA on TNT” show. Sadly, you won’t get to see them together for quite a while.

The WNBA star, 35, and her partner Anya Petrakova announced back in December that they are expecting a baby. She announced this wonderful news on Instagram with a beautiful picture of her and her partner.

In her place, we got another former NBA All-Star, Tracy McGrady, to share the stage with Shaq. At this point in her relationship, Candace took the time to support her partner. In the video, we see McGrady roasting Shaq throughout his comments and mentioning that he will not babysit him. He also praised his friend Dwyane Wade. 

“I just let Shaq be Shaq, you know and I’ll follow D Wade, I don’t follow Shaq, Shaq is always going to be him. I can’t control Shaq only Candace can control Shaq. That’s not my job, that’s not why I am here. Right, I am not here to babysit Shaq, I am here to be alongside my boy Wade to carry the show that Shaq is on”.

Candace and her partner announced their marriage anniversary and upcoming pregnancy on social media. Candace will not be appearing on the show for quite a while since Petrakova is pregnant. As we saw her social media posts, she wished her partner a Happy Anniversary and also shared the pregnancy news.

After all these years, seeing those former players together would be quite interesting. We hope that Mac will be able to fill Candace’s absence, although there could be some new chemistry they could develop.
