Juancho Hernangomez will be moving from the Celtics to the Spurs, Bryn Forbes will make his way from the Spurs to the Nuggets, and Bol Bol and PJ Dozier will switch from the Nuggets to the Celtics. What will the players will bring to their new NBA sides?
Bol, PJ Dozier, Juancho Hernangomez, and Bryn Forbes are the players involved in the deal, and none of them have exactly been trailblazers for their respective franchises. Furthermore, some of the players have a concerning injury status as Bol and Dozier will not be playing for a while. Dozier is out for the season due to a torn ACL and Bol won’t be available for two or three months because of a foot surgery.
In addition, Boston faces a financial incentive as they want to trade Hernangomez for a tax reduction. Speaking of Forbes, his time with the Milwaukee Bucks ended with the championship ring, but he then returned to his former team, San Antonio Spurs. Forbes’ move enabled some newcomers to get more playing time for the team and now, he’ll be moving to Denver. The Nuggets believe that he can provide shooting depth to their bench and become a valuable squad member.
