Former NBA star wins a brand-new car

It has been about a decade since NBA veteran Jared Jeffries made his exit from the league. Drafted in 2002, Jeffries played for 11 seasons before retiring as a Portland Trail Blazers player in 2013. In his decade-long career, the 41-year-old basketball star has earned over $40 million in the league. However, even a billionaire is a human being in the end, and doesn’t everyone love winning something for free?

As per reports from TMZ Sports, in the recent episode of The Price is Right, Jeffries won a brand new Toyota Corolla. Jeffries won the car after playing a game called ‘One Away’, where he guessed the correct price of the Toyota. Upon realizing that he had won the round, Jeffries could not contain his happiness as he ran towards the car while the host, Drew Carey, said, “What a good win! What a good win to start the show! Way to go!”

However, the only issue is that the car might not be able to provide a comfortable space for the 6ft 11inch tower. Nevertheless, the compact size of the car was not enough to deter Jeffries from showing his excitement.

It was a lifelong dream

Following Jared Jeffries’ epic win, a former Indiana University Hoosiers teammate, who goes by the name Jarrad Odle, took to Twitter to post a short clip from the show. The 30 secs video showed the hilarious moment when Jeffries realized he had won the car and began cheering in excitement.

Odle’s caption read, “Dude still makes me laugh.”
