Former Teammate Blasts LeBron James and Stephen Curry: “Neither of those fuc*ers are the best”

Basketball player turned analyst Richard Jefferson in an interview with GQ Sports where he replied to fans on the internet, said neither LeBron James nor Stephen Curry is the best in the NBA right now. Notably, he has played alongside LeBron, who helped him win an NBA championship in 2016.

While he admitted he would prefer playing with LeBron James since he helped him win a championship. Although he also said that Stephen Curry is nicer than LeBron James. Because there was always a fear that LeBron could trade someone if they didn’t play well.

He believes that Giannis, Jokic, and Embiid are better than LeBron James and Steph Curry at the moment. According to him, LeBron James and Steph Curry are old and outdated.

Is LeBron James’ age catching up with him?

LeBron James is one of the all-time greats of the game of basketball. The future Hall of Famer has multiple mind-blowing records to his name. 

LeBron James is in the #2 spot in the all-time scoring charts for the regular seasons, only behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. While playing 5,308 fewer minutes than Kareem, LeBron James is only behind by 1,325 points.

James is also the only player ever in the history of the NBA to have 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 10,000 assists. Which is a testament to his versatility and consistency.

While age catching up to LeBron James is inevitable, he hasn’t slowed down at 37. This season he averaged 30.3 points per game, 8.2 rebounds per game, and 6.2 assists per game.

The last time LeBron James averaged 30 per game was the 2007-08 season when he played for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

While perhaps he is scoring more only because of his teammates’ inability to score, it still means that he has always had that and was a facilitator whenever possible.
