Shaquille O’Neal, the former NBA star, recently opened up about his impressive weight loss journey. Shaq visited a doctor’s clinic after more than a decade and he was completely thrown off by the strident reality of his laidback lifestyle. Instead of ignoring the issue, Shaq took charge of his fitness. His dedication has resulted in him losing over 40 lbs and counting.

One of the key factors in O’Neal’s transformation has been his diet. According to People magazine, growing up as an athlete, Shaq admitted how he did not care whether his meals provided any value to his health. However, as he aged, he realized how he should take care of himself.
