The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Golden State Warriors in a game with potentially massive playoff complications. The Warriors who were on a three-game winning streak, just lost the game 96-99 to the Wolves in a hard-fought matchup. However, the game sure had heated moments between the two teams after Draymond Green was on the receiving end of some hard fouls, including a flagrant 1 foul from a Timberwolves star.

The Warriors-Timberwolves game saw mediocre performances from both the team?s starters. It seemed as if everyone had an off night for this one. Gary Payton II was back in the Golden State lineup, giving fans hope for a win in his Warriors debut. However, things didn’t work out that way for the Warriors fans.

Draymond Green had a light-hearted take on the flagrant foul

The matchup between these two teams got a bit excessively physical, as Rudy Gobert was called for a flagrant 1 foul on Draymond Green. As the Warriors’ defensive anchor rolled to the rim for a layup, Gobert tried to chase him down for a block. Instead, he ended up shoving Green in mid-air after he extended his right arm into Draymond?s back.

The four-time NBA champion gave a light-hearted take after the foul was called. Green said, ?This the first time I’ve ever been on the other end of this. Ever. I thought they was calling it on me.”

But that wasn?t the end of Gobert?s physicality on Green. During the fourth quarter of the game, the French basketball star also clocked Green right in the face with an elbow. Though, in his defense, Gobert was going for a euro-step layup when he hit Green in the face with his elbow.
