He said, “If you look at Jordan and Magic, they’re not black. They’re other. If the cop pulled over Magic, and as soon as he sees Magic, he’s gonna ask for his autograph. If they pull over Michael Jordan, it’s gonna be the same thing. So, these guys have transcended. Kinda like what OJ said about himself. I’m not black, I’m OJ.

This came after Jordan and Magic decided to not protest against the Jacob Blake shooting incident that shook the entire country. 

How great were Jordan and Magic?

Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson are two of the most decorated players ever. Jordan won 6 NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls and Magic won 5 with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Jordan is a 14 time NBA All-Star, 10 times Scoring Champ and 6 times finals MVP. He retired with an average of 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists. 

On the other hand, Magic is a 12 time All-Star, 3 times MVP and 3 times finals MVP. He averages 19.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 11.2 assists.
