Henderson recently fell behind Victor Wembanyama and others in the NBA draft
While it is almost sure that Victor Wembanyama will be selected as the #1 overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft, the battle for the other draft picks is getting heated up. For months, Scoot Henderson was projected to be the #2 overall pick. However, it seems someone else has taken his place.
Despite a poor performance in March Madness, some analysts feel Alabama freshman Brandon Miller has a better chance of going #2. “‘It is what it is. The NCAA Tournament is what’s going on right now. Obviously, I knew that was gonna happen,” said Henderson, when asked about his draft chances. Miller averaged 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists during the 2022-23 season.
