It is not an unwise decision to bank on Giannis Antetokounmpo, considering his promising performances in recent years. Therefore, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian rooted for Giannis during the Christmas day match-up between the table-toppers of the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics. He had taken to Twitter to share his excitement and predictions as the two teams, led by superstars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum respectively, locked horns in an exciting match-up . Unfortunately, Ohanian was left with disappointment in front of the NBA Twitter after the match concluded.
The Bucks and the Celtics currently have impressive records in the Eastern Conference with (22-11) and (24-10) respectively. While Giannis stands as the poster boy for the Bucks, the Celtics have exciting names too, like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown in their squad.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks disappoints fans on Christmas day
Ahead of the Bucks-Celtics match-up, Alexis Ohanian excitedly took to Twitter and wrote, “Currently all-in on this @Bucksx@celtics game.” He didn’t stop there and further tweeted after the second quarter, “Close match at the half. Predicting @Giannis_An34 [Giannis Antetokounmpo] goes super saiyan in the 2nd.” Like most fans, Ohanian heavily relied on the Greek Freak but the odds didn’t go in his favor. The Bucks ended up losing the contest despite Giannis’ impressive 27 points. Disappointed with the result, Ohanian tweeted a straightforward disappointed emoji.

The NBA Twitter witnessed the different ranges of emotions from Alexis Ohanian. He started off by expressing his excitement, followed by anticipation and finally disappointment after the end of the game. On the contrary, the Celtics fans enjoyed an impressive game and an important victory. Celtics’ Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum stepped up with 29 and 41 points respectively to give their team a Christmas win (139 – 118).
