Before the tip-off to the Thursday night game, Shaq came up with a hilarious sound to show his support for the Atlanta Hawks. However, the crew gave a fitting reply to Big Diesel’s antics, leaving Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith in splits. Following the prank, fans flooded the social media comments with hysterical reactions.

The Hawks entered the game with an aim to extend the series to a Game 7. Trae Young and Co. battled hard, restricting the Boston Celtics from taking a huge lead throughout the game. However, Celtics guard Marcus Smart’s brilliant assists in the clutch sealed a comfortable 128-120 victory and secured the series 4-2.

Raining feathers leave Shaquille O’Neal surprised

The Inside the NBA crew joined in for a pre-game talk before the tip-off on Thursday night. Ernie Johnson asked Shaquille O’Neal to express his confidence in the Hawks’ victory with a loud caw. Shaq immediately began to caw to show his confidence in the team. Moreover, the big man had brought a Hawks soft toy to the set.

Little did he know, after a brief moment of silence, the crew dumped red and white feathers on the Lakers legend. The entire panel burst into laughter as Shaq continued to caw.

In December, the crew put together a pre-Christmas celebration with singer Jacquees. As he continued to sing his melodious number ‘Let it snow’, the crew pranked Charles Barkley by dumping an enormous pile of snow on him. The panel burst into laughter as Barkley said, “I hate y’all.”

It is usually Chuck who gets pranked. However, the team pranked O’Neal for a change on Thursday.
