Additionally, as an insult to the injury, a 21-year-old Hornets player almost left Air Jordan hanging in the side court during the Friday night game against the Orlando Magic. After completing 28 minutes of play, the Hornets center Mark Williams reached out to his teammates in the side court for handshakes. Meanwhile, Williams unknowingly ignored Michael Jordan, who reached his hand out for a shake. However, he immediately turned around to save his boss from embarrassment.

But it was already too late, as the fans flooded in hysterical reactions to the video clip on social media. Williams looked visibly upset with his team’s performance as he refrained from smiling back at Air Jordan during the handshake.

Even though he missed several games in this season, he maintained a steady average of 23.2 points in 36 games. However, there hasn’t been any official update regarding Ball’s return to the hardwood. The fans expect the star to miss the rest of the season.
