The Eastern Conference semifinals between the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks are all tied up. After losing game 3, the Celtics rallied back in the fourth quarter to level the series. And this grueling and physical series is surely bringing out the best in the players. Things have gotten a little testy as well as Giannis Antetokounmpo inadvertently kicked Marcus Smart in the face.

It was the fourth quarter, and the Celtics were leading 95-94 with less than 5:30 left in the game. Giannis drove into the lane, but he was guarded well by Smart. He missed his shot, but Brook Lopez got the rebound. Even he missed his put back and Al-Horford got the rebound. Giannis tried to get the rebound, but he was boxed out well by Smart. The Celtics go to the other end and they score through Horford, who drew the foul as well.

But Gianni’s momentum took both the players to the ground, and they were tangled. Smart tried to help Giannis up but Giannis held him down on the ground with his legs. Smart eventually got out, but while doing so, Giannis kicked him in the face.

Despite that, Smart tried to help him up, but Giannis was not interested. And Smart just left him down there and went back up the court.

While addressing their tangle in the post-match reaction, Smart didn’t mince his words. He said Giannis?did a good job keeping him on the floor and he kicked him in the face. And after trying multiple times to help him up, he was fed up, and he said, ” I just said forget it man.”.

This series has been very intense and physical and the players are not giving an inch to each other. Giannis has been strong and hard on everything and he has raised some injury concerns for Jayson Tatum with his hard play.

But there has been no bad blood between the two teams and they are competing with an Eastern Conference Finals berth on the line. The games have also been very close and both the teams are giving their everything and this has resulted in some spectacular basketball. Things are sure to remain chippy for the rest of the series.
