From being a two-time back-to-back MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and also an NBA champion, to ending the Bucks’ title drought after 50 years, he has a lot to be proud of. However, his efforts on the court aren’t the only thing that Milwaukee is thankful for.

Coming from a humble background himself, Giannis never forgot to give back to the community. While many NBA legends, and superstar get statues because of their greatness or get roads, named after that, but Milwaukee decided to take a more unique route, and literally. The city decided to name a bus route after him as a gift for his birthday.

Anybody in his would be blessed to have a fan-following like this. So naturally, the superstar took to Instagram to thank his fans for all the gestures and wishes. With pictures of him, he posted in the caption, “Milwaukee, thank you for all the love on my birthday!!!!!! Let’s keep this going.”

The Milwaukee County Transit System named it route 34, which is an homage to his jersey number. While this is very creative, it’s likely that Giannis, whose potential screams more achievements, will probably have streets and statues named after him as well.
