As a result, fans throng to see the Milwaukee Bucks superstar in action whenever he is playing. However, he was given a recent reality check during his latest game.

When the Milwaukee Bucks took on the Orlando Magic recently, thousands of fans filled up the arena to see some of their favorite basketball players take the court. Interestingly, one particular fan was not attending the game for Giannis or any other NBA star. Her hilarious choice caught the attention of Giannis himself as he posted the fan on his Instagram.

Fan catches the eye of Giannis Antetokounmpo with an interesting signboard

The Bucks faced the Magic on the 8th of March, 2023, and they breezed past the Magic 134-123. Incidentally, their game fell on International Women’s Day. Interestingly, a female fan brought out an interesting signboard during the game and gave a brutal reality check to Antetokounmpo on Women’s Day.

The sign read, “I’m only here for #Queen Mariah!!” In case you are not aware, Giannis’ wife is Mariah Riddlesprigger and it seems the fan was in the arena to watch her instead of her husband.

The photo of the sign was posted by the Bucks superstar himself and he also tagged his wife, Mariah Riddlesprigger. Antetokounmpo and Riddlesprigger share two kids together.

Their eldest son, Liam, was welcomed into the world on February 10, 2020. A year later, the couple welcomed their second child together. Maverick Shai, their son, was born on August 18, 2021. Interestingly, Antetokounmpo once made a hilarious comment on how he plays defense with his wife and two kids.

The Greek Freak is a strong contender to win the MVP title again

The Greek Freak is carrying on business as usual as the NBA enters one of its most crucial stages. The playoffs are right around the corner and the next few weeks will be important for every team looking for a post-season berth.

The Bucks need not be concerned about the playoffs. They are 1st in the Eastern Conference and looking comfortable to qualify. Giannis Antetokounmpo leads his team yet again as he averages 31.2 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. Numbers such as these make him a strong candidate for the MVP title. The former NBA champion is currently 2nd in the rankings behind Nikola Jokic.
