The Antetokounmpo family has produced three NBA champions in Kostas, Thanasis, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Several siblings have made it to the biggest basketball stage together. However, the Antetokounmpo brothers are one of the very few sets of NBA siblings to lift the NBA gold.

Giannis is unquestionably the best player of the three and has accomplished the most in the NBA. Interestingly, he and Thanasis both compete for the Milwaukee Bucks. While Giannis is the star of his squad, Thanasis is an end-of-the-bench role player. In fact, his real value is as an emotional leader on the bench and in the dugout. The two brothers together have exemplified the idea brotherly love during their time in the league. However, unlike most of their sibling activities, this one, in particular, wasn’t as well received by fans.

The Milwaukee Bucks tipped off their NBA season against the Philadelphia 76ers recently. After months of waiting, fans were eager to see their favorite players in action. However, before the Bucks opened their NBA season, Giannis and Thanasis decided to provide the entire world with a strange moment.

As Giannis Antetokounmpo was preparing to take the court and unleash his hooping powers, the cameras caught Thanasis preparing his brother in an unusual way. In a video that has been making rounds on social media, Thanasis appeared to be picking Giannis’ nose for him.

Not sure whether it was a way to hype his brother up or make sure that his nose was clean, but it certainly was an absurd gesture. Nevertheless, if that was a failsafe method of revving Giannis up, it certainly worked as he spearheaded his team to a victory over the 76ers.
