During a segment on ‘Inside the NBA’ following the Bucks’ win over the Warriors, the NBA Hall of Famer talked about potentially seeing a certain Phoenix Suns player alongside the Greek Freak. He also called the Suns ‘stupid’ for not utilizing the potential of the player.

The Milwaukee Bucks have had a strong start to the 2022-23 season with a record of 20-8. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo and co. would want to further strengthen their roster to repeat their 2021 glory. Meanwhile, Charles Barkley has the perfect man for the job.

Barkley wants Suns star to join Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks

Barkley’s preferred choice is none other than Jae Crowder. The veteran forward has had a strained relationship with the Suns after playing 67 games last season. With Crowder looking to leave, the Bucks might very well be an option.

The Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns have developed a heated rivalry in the past few seasons. They faced off in the 2020-21 NBA finals with the Suns being in touching distance of the title with an early 2-0 lead. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo had other plans. The two-time MVP ended up willing his team to a 4-2 victory in the series, securing the second title ever in franchise history.

The two teams are high up in the table currently and an interesting trade between them should happen soon according to Charles Barkley. The veteran analyst wants to see Jae Crowder in Bucks uniform.

On ‘Inside the NBA‘, Barkley said, “I would like to see Milwaukee pick up one more guy like Jae Crowder. You cant have a guy like that sitting at home. That’s just stupid from the Suns.”

Crowder’s relationship with the Suns has completely broken down lately and he has refused to play till he finds a new team. Interestingly enough, the Bucks might be interested to bring in the 6-foot-6 inches tall forward.

According to recent reports, they are willing to offer George Hill, Wesley Matthews, Jordan Nwora, or Serge Ibaka in order to bring in Crowder.

With one of the best players in the league and a deep roster, the Milwaukee Bucks have started the season well. They are currently second in the Eastern Conference.

They have a 20-8 record and are looking good on the floor. Giannis is leading the way for his team with a staggering average of 30.6 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists in 24 games. Thanks to such phenomenal numbers, he is once again in the MVP conversation this season.
