50-year-old Shaquille O’Neal was once the Lakers‘ most priced possession. Having been bought for a record sum, he justified his price tag and created history for the franchise, along with the likes of Kobe Bryant.

However, for years now the NBA’s official website has read ‘Shaquille O’Neal: 7’1″, 325 lbs.’ Shockingly enough, this isn’t the case. While asked about his height being compared to that of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s, the 15-time All-Star made a startling revelation.

Questioned about Giannis’ statement regarding him being taller than Shaq, the 4-time NBA champion replied, “He’s pretty up there.” He continued, “First of all, I’m not 7’1″. I’m 6’11”. I just played like I was 7’1″. And 7 foot 1 just sounded, you know, just so, you know.”
