Gilbert Arenas was an NBA All-Star who was known for his stint with the Washington Wizards. He was drafted 31st overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 2001 NBA Draft. Arenas was one of the league’s best scorers in his prime and he averaged over 25PPG for over three seasons.

He was also one of the most outspoken players and he has increased that volume in the last few years. Arenas has his own podcast, and he goes on several talk shows to speak about the league and his experiences. It is rare to see an ex-player who gives his insights like this, and Arenas is one of the best to do so.

Gilbert Arenas was referring to Kwame Brown; the number 1 pick overall in his class. Brown is considered by many analysts as one of the biggest draft busts of all time. His career was hampered by injuries and controversies. However, Brown has often said that other influences played a major role in him not reaching his full potential and he should not be considered a bust.
