BlackOps Basketball owner and skills trainer Chris Brickley reserved high praise for Russell Westbrook on a show. Brickley works and trains closely alongside his client Westbrook during the NBA off-season.

Therefore, Brickley could only appreciate Westbrook’s dedication to his training regime on the show. Recently Brickley appeared on ‘ALL THE SMOKE’ hosted by former NBA stars Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson. During the show, the special skills trainer articulately described his basketball journey and his profession.

Brickley interjected host Matt Barnes as he was talking about NBA stars and their dedication to training. He added that Russell Westbrook was such a character.

He explained saying, “Russell Westbrook was one guy that he gives no fu*ks like doesn’t matter who is in front of him every time he’s been to a BlackOps he’s going to destroy you.”

Russell Westbrook has a no-nonsense attitude

Westbrook joined the Los Angeles Lakers on a trade in the offseason, leaving the Washington Wizards after having spent just one season there. Russell Westbrook seemed excited about the move and was buzzing to join the Lakers. Lakers fans’ emotions ranged from indifference to average satisfaction with his signing.

However, the Lakers’ fanbase cannot fault Westbrook for his attitude towards the game and preparation for the upcoming season. Brickley backs up Westbrook’s no-nonsense attitude by affirming his dedication.

The 32-year-old Lakers point guard averaged 22.2 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 11.7 assists per game last season for the Wizards. It remains to be seen if he can replicate or improve on this form for the Lakers after intense scrutiny following his trade to the Los Angeles franchise.

Chris Brickley works as a skills trainer for the NBA’s top stars at BlackOps. His trainees have included famous musicians like J. Cole and Travis Scott. Along with BlackOps he also owns the clothing brand ‘Color Blind NYC’.

He is also quite famous on social media, boasting over a million followers on Instagram. Brickley has reportedly trained seven of the players selected in the first round of the 2021 NBA draft.
