Sierra Canyon sensation Bronny James has emerged as one of the most talked about young basketball athletes in the nation as he sets his sight on college. The 18-year-old Bronny James’ brilliance on the court has led to many colleges battling to land him in their program. Amid the recent rise in fame for the $10 million worth star, a prominent female sports voice recently took shots recently at LeBron James’ eldest son. A while ago, she had also claimed that LeBron James once tried to get her fired from ESPN.
Sports reporter and former broadcaster Michelle Beadle recently offered LeBron son’s Bronny a bitter piece of advice. The 47-year-old hosted ESPN’s ‘SportsNation’ during her stint with the media organization. Beadle also worked for NBC & HBO and is currently offering her services to FanDuel TV. Beadle questions Bronny James’ abilities
In a recent interview with The Spun, Michelle Beadle was asked if she thought LeBron James would be able to play long enough to share the court with his son Bronny. Citing LeBron’s recent performances and fitness, Beadle felt that LeBron could go on for five more years. Moreover, The FanDuel sports host believed that it would be a ‘helluva footnote to a great career’ if he managed to play in the NBA with his son.
I had the privilege of speaking to @MichelleDBeadle to discuss the NBA season, LeBron James, 'Run It Back,' her NBA Mt. Rushmore and whether a hot dog is a sandwich. Thanks @FanDuelTV https://t.co/uuiJG5aSWl

However, while talking about LeBron James’ son, Michelle Beadle stated, “(Bronny) is nowhere near as good as his dad. But someone will draft him because he is LeBron’s son. That’s a big shadow to fill and I sometimes wonder about the kids of greats.”
She added, “Why? Why do the same field that your dad dominated?’ Go be an engineer! Go into a different field, because you’ll never live up to that. Ever.”
Beadle claimed that she did not believe Bronny James had enough talent to fill his father’s massive shoes in the NBA. At the same time, she also advised Bronny to choose a different career path instead of putting too much pressure on himself by chasing his father’s legacy on the court.
Did LeBron try to get Beadle fired?
Back in November 2021, Michelle Beadle claimed on her podcast that LeBron James once tried to get her fired from ESPN. The 2008 NBA champ Paul Pierce asked beadle if the rumor was true.
