But despite this, the $47.1 million earning Westbrook finally broke his silence and committed to LeBron James and the Lakers.
The last season was an absolute disaster for the Lakers as their experiment with Westbrook failed miserably. Westbrook underperformed massively, and he was blamed as the main reason for their season. Recently, there have been calls from fans for Russell Westbrook to be traded away, however, the Lakers have held on to him so far.

And despite massive uncertainty, Westbrook seems to commit to the Los Angeles Lakers for the upcoming season.
