There has been a ton of speculation about Russell Westbrook’s place in the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers have spent the entire off-season to find a deal to send Westbrook away but are unable to do so. But despite this, the $47.1 million earning Westbrook finally broke his silence and committed to LeBron James and the Lakers.

The last season was an absolute disaster for the Lakers as their experiment with Westbrook failed miserably. Westbrook underperformed massively, and he was blamed as the main reason for their season. Recently, there have been calls from fans for Russell Westbrook to be traded away, however, the Lakers have held on to him so far.

And despite massive uncertainty, Westbrook seems to commit to the Los Angeles Lakers for the upcoming season.

Despite all the noise from the outside world, Westbrook has committed to giving everything to this team. And with the season looming, it is looking more and more likely that Westbrook will remain with the Lakers.
