“God” Kevin Durant Admits Being Left In Awe of Suns’ Devin Booker

Kevin Durant is one of the purest basketball players in the NBA today. His offensive skill-set is almost unmatched. The Slim Reaper ranks in another tier altogether when it comes to his work ethic. However, he isn’t the only one who works his way through. Notably, in a recent interview, Kevin Durant revealed why he enjoys watching Suns guard Devin Booker.

The Phoenix Suns are the best team in the NBA. After getting to the NBA finals last season, they made it a mission to come out on the winning side. And this season they have kept that tempo going.

Devin Booker has been the spearhead of the Suns’ offense and has played a big part in their success. As a young guard, his work ethic is one of the best and his improvements have shown on the court.

While talking to JJ Reddick, Durant spoke about the young Suns player and said he is his favorite player to watch in the NBA.

While on the Old Man and The Three podcast, Kevin Durant revealed his favorite player in the NBA. Surprisingly, it was Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns. He had immense praise for Book saying he is on his way to mastering who he is as a player. In addition, Durant also thinks Book knows how to win while still being elite.

Durant said, “This is a pretty game for one, but I just think he is mastering who he is right now. He’s figuring it out. Like how to play at an elite level, but I still win. Because he is always scoring the ball, but he knows how to win.”

Ever since coming into the league, it was clear as day Book was a special talent. His scoring prowess rivals some of the best in today’s game. At just 25, he became the 4th youngest player to score 11000 points only behind Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and his idol, Kobe Bryant. Averaging nearly 27 points this season, the Suns guard is already one of the best players in the league.

With vengeance for last year’s finals on his mind, Booker is going to leave his all on the court as the playoffs come near. With a leader like Chris Paul by his side, the two have proved to be one of the best backcourts.
