Hall of Famer teams up with renowned journalist

Several weeks ago, CNN reached out to Charles Barkley with the prospect of a new show. The reports first surfaced about two months ago and this did not sit well with the viewers of Inside the NBA.?Sir Charles will be hosting a new chat show alongside TV personality Gayle King. Just six months after Barkley signed a 10-year deal with TNT, he agreed to co-host a new show which will be presented by TNT’s sister company CNN. The show is called?King Charles, derived from the new co-hosts? first and last names.

As Ernie Johnson explained in the episode, the show will center on the ‘people in the events that are shaping out culture’. It is scheduled to be premiered this fall on CNN primetime.
