On Wednesday evening the Golden State Warriors will face off against the Utah Jazz in the Vivint Arena. However, there seems to be utter disbelief among fans as they won’t get some Stephen Curry magic today. Not only will the fans miss the presence of the team’s leading scorer but other senior players like Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala were also ruled out.

Both teams had released their injury reports and starting lineups prior to the game. According to this, Stephen Curry has a left ankle soreness that will keep him on the bench. Green and Iguodala, on the other hand, both suffered hip injuries and were ruled out of the game. Furthermore, the Warriors will begin the game as underdogs, fans will hope the team can pull off a spectacular win in the absence of the recently crowned SI’s Sportsperson of the Year.

He has arguably been doing this for the last eight years and has won four NBA titles in the Warriors’ colors. That made him worthy of winning Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year award.
