Steph Curry was just a 10-year-old kid by the time Michael Jordan had won six NBA Championships. In fact, his father Dell Curry was playing for the Hornets (now an MJ-owned franchise) during those days in mid-1998. And now, the same kid has grown up and reached new heights to have the opportunity to interview the legend himself.

The occasion was the Ryder Cup 2021 at Wisconsin where Curry and MJ were present on Day 1. Rooting for Team USA, both the NBA stars started their day by showing their support for different American duos but later sat down together. So what was their meeting about?

Later in the post-game conference, Curry revealed that he channeled that competitiveness from MJ. The 3x Champion made the following statement, “The Jordan meme, right. I take all that personally.”

So interviewing MJ was Curry’s opportunity to learn more from the legend. Reportedly, they also discussed how golf is the toughest mental sport, how the team-first motto draws a parallel with the NBA, and which player does MJ sees as his successor.
