The draft lottery has been the talk of the town after the San Antonio Spurs won the lottery and edge closer to landing Victor Wembanyama. The French starlet is one of the most hyped prospects ever in the NBA. Many believe Wembanyama will be a force in the league and has the ability to turn the fortune of any franchise. While the Spurs seemingly won the lottery, there were some losers as well including the New York Knicks. The Knicks fell short of improving their team by a whisker.

The Knicks got the 21st pick in the 2021 draft which was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. Unfortunately, for the Knicks, the Mavs received the 10th pick.
