Only a day after the Draymond Green stomp incident, NBA fans would get a little deja vu. A heated duel between Joel Embiid and Nicolas Claxton ended up with the MVP frontrunner kicking the Brooklyn Nets center in the groin. You might be thinking, he was surely ejected, or even suspended. However, that is far from reality. Embiid would escape with just a flagrant one.

When it comes to Embiid’s kick, it wasn’t far off from what Draymond Green did to Domantas Sabonis. Despite that, one got to play the entire game while the other was thrown out immediately and even suspended for the next contest. This would’ve been the ideal situation for Green to blast the NBA for discrimination. However, he didn’t do so, nor did he challenge the leniency shown to Embiid. Just why did Green not have any issues? Well, it is because he claims to embrace his ‘badge of honor’.
