The Golden State Warriors preseason matchup turned into a highlight show for the fans. Stephen Curry had a brilliant performance against Portland Trail Blazers. This outing comes with less than a week left for regular season, which must have the Warriors fans stoked for the coming year.

In the Warriors’ game, Curry took over with a (preseason) performance for the ages. He put up 41 points in just half an hour. Likewise, he had everyone on the edge of their seats as he made highlight worthy plays one after another. Moreover, the Warriors will play the Lakers on opening night, hence this momentum going into the game is crucial.

Curry took the spotlight of the entire game and nobody could come close to him. The baby-faced assassin was in the mood for the kill, and he took all his chances. Steph put up some ridiculous shots and even completed two 4 point plays. Likewise, Twitter couldn’t help but speak about his outing.

Stephen Curry went 7/14 from downtown and had a great night for himself. Apart from him, Draymond Green played his role perfectly, with 10 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and a block to his name. Jordan Poole had an impressive night shooting 7-15 while scoring 16 points. With the whole group coming together, it is a positive sign for the Warriors going into the season.

For Portland, CJ McCollum was the lead scorer with 26 points to his name. Moreover, Powell also ended the game with 18 points to his name. While their starters all had a decent game, Curry’s performance overwhelmed it all. His 20 point 3rd quarter took the game away from Portland. With the Warriors playing this way without Klay Thompson, the fans in Bay are all the more excited for his return.
