Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas Labels Lakers’ LeBron James the ‘Best Leader’ in NBA

After leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a championship last season, LeBron James has proved himself yet again. Despite receiving many critics downplaying him for a mediocre first season with the organization, he bounced back and made the city of Los Angeles champions for the first time in a decade.

This season, many believe the supporting cast around James and Anthony Davis has only improved. It was on full display in their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Behind a stellar all-around performance, the Lakers won comfortably.

Isiah Thomas praises Lakers superstar LeBron James

In an interview with “Inside the NBA” NBA Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas heaped huge praise on King James. “[LeBron James] understands how to bring people together collectively off the court.

“He is the best leader right now in the NBA in terms of gathering, focusing a team, and moving them forward throughout the season.”

The Lakers have had a good start to the season winning 2 of their first 3 games. Thomas believes LBJ’s leadership skills have certainly played a part in this terrific start for the team.

If the Lakers can build on this blazing start, they are in the perfect position to run it back.

Speaking of the most valuable players for any franchise, James’ name is right at the top. For the past decade or so, he has been nothing but amazing and has mostly delivered for his team. That is something that has not changed during his tenure with the purple and gold.

Although the Lakers have two superstars in LeBron James and Anthony Davis, there is hardly anyone who can argue that ‘Bron is the leader of the team.

No offense to Davis, he is a phenomenal player, and he proved that last year, but as of now, James is the true leader for the team. By the time he retires, LakerNation will hope that James can carry the team to a couple more rings.
