Michael Jordan commands the respect and recognition of many NBA colleagues and professional sports athletes. The NBA legend retired in 2003 but still finds himself in the media’s spotlights. Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls and helped them dominate the NBA with a star studded roster. NBA fans often compare Jordan to NBA stars like Kobe Bryant and LeBron James and others.

Recently, Mitch Richmond commented on Michael Jordan’s scoring ability while also comparing them to Kobe Bryant. The NBA Hall of Famer was speaking to ‘fubo Sports’ when the hosts questioned him about his experiences facing Jordan. Richmond likened Jordan’s raw scoring ability to Kobe’s ability and mentioned how elite players possessed such a natural ability.

Richmond said, “But one thing with him you know, you know he was gonna come at you each and every night, every night. And you know Kobe had that same thing that you know. And I think all the great ones have it that they’re thirsty to score. Like you know, ‘I was like I gotta get it, you know I gotta get that bucket.”

He started his NBA career in 1988, four years after Jordan kick-started his career with the Bulls.

Jordan is currently fifth in the NBA’s all time scoring list with 32,292 points. Kobe ranks higher than Jordan in fourth place with 33,643 points. Jordan started his NBA career in 1984 and won six NBA championships with the Bulls.
