There has been little to no information about the relationship between Vanessa Bryant and Halle Bailey. However, her performance in her latest movie had not just Vanessa but thousands of fans appreciating her work.

Kobe Bryant’s wife praises Halle Bailey

Disney’s The Little Mermaid made its debut worldwide on May 26. Though the movie premiered on May 8 in Los Angeles, the rest of the world had to wait a couple more weeks to enjoy Disney’s latest movie.

The Little Mermaid is an adaptation of Disney’s 1989 animated movie with the same title. The latest remake of the animated film had Halle Bailey in the lead role of Ariel in the movie. The movie’s director Rob Marshall too was majorly appreciated for casting Bailey in the lead role.

In the most recent Instagram update, Vanessa Bryant gave a huge shoutout to Halle Bailey for her amazing performance in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. She went to her Instagram stories to share Halle’s response to her prior story along with a one-word message for Ariel herself. 

In the post, Halle could be seen thanking Vanessa Bryant for sharing her movie on her Instagram. The picture is of Vanessa sitting in an empty theater, tagging Disney’s Little Mermaid and Halle Bailey in her story. She even added a heart emoji to show how she felt.

When Halle shared the same post on her Instagram story, Vanessa went a step further to add this whole ordeal on her IG once again. But this time she added another remark of ‘Bravo’ in the form of a GIF.

Halle Bailey could not believe the success of her latest project

Disney’s The Little Mermaid became a huge hit within the first few days of its release. The movie was expected to make somewhere between $117 million to $121 million in its four-day opening weekend. The movie, in fact, surpassed the expectation of how much it would make.
