Shaquille O’Neal offers advice and congratulates Metta World Peace

Recently, Metta World Peace got married. In a wonderful act, the veteran changed his name post marriage, and adopted his wife’s last name. As a result, his new name is now Metta Sandiford-Artest. Initially addressing Metta’s decision to take his wife’s last name, Shaq applauded the move. “[It is] very commendable of him,” claimed the 15-time All-star. The pair, who go way back, are naturally happy for each other’s successes.

Shaq continued, “I’m proud of you. Congratulations on your marriage. Great job. Happy wife, happy life!” In fact, this was Artest’s second marriage, having split with his first wife a few years ago.
