Even though Shaq’s surgery turned out positively, the recent social media upload of his recovery left fans sympathizing with the Lakers legend. Thousands of fans flooded the comments sections with heartfelt messages, wishing Shaq to get back on his feet soon. 

The fans have missed the big man with the Inside the NBA crew for a while and wondered what went wrong. Subsequently, the 4x NBA Champion uploaded a picture of him lying in a hospital bed. Later, the crew clarified that Shaq had undergone his long-awaited hip-replacement surgery. Even though he shared the details of his health humorously initially, the recent update turned the comments section into an emotional rollercoaster.

The big man took to his Instagram and shared a video of him walking in the gym using a crutch and doing some reps on his shoulders. Along with the video, he also shared a positive message through his caption. The caption read, “bout to get my game back alll you old dudes that hoop in @24hrfitness @lafitness @lifetimefitness i’m coming for yall.”

Even though the caption reflected a positive emotion, the visuals of Shaq struggling with the walking crutch made the comments section sad. Hollywood star Jamie Foxx even expressed his sympathy in the comments. He wrote, “Bro, this sh*t almost made me cry.”
