NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal recently celebrated his 51st birthday. It is safe to say that the four-time NBA champion was a party animal during his time in the league. He is infamous for throwing massive parties and his antics with his celebrity guests. A former Los Angeles Lakers cheerleader recently revealed some interesting details about the New Year’s Eve parties of the 2000 NBA MVP. Presumably, the Big Diesel might not be continuing his antics given his age. However, he still threw a huge party for his birthday.

Last year, the Los Angeles Lakers legend celebrated his 50th birthday in style in Miami where a lot of celebrities gathered. This year, the celebration was in Atlanta. Many celebrities were in attendance including TV star Mimi Faust.

Mimi Faust wishes Shaquille O’Neal a happy birthday

The red carpet for the birthday party of Shaquille O’Neal was rolled out at 10:00 PM and people started flooding the event. Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Mimi Faust was also in attendance. The actress was seen in a dashing outfit with a sneaker and was asked whether she has ever been a stylist or what was her inspiration. Faust replied, “I’ve never been a stylist. I just like different things, I want to wear something that I think I’m not going to see everyone else in. So that’s my inspiration.”

She then wished O’Neal a happy birthday to the camera. The interviewer then asked her how Shaq had inspired her or how he inspired the culture.

Faust answered, “Just because he’s so well versed and well rounded. He played basketball, he’s a businessman, he’s funny. Like, he just does so many things and I think the culture appreciates it, I know I do just because he’s not just one-dimensional. And I think that’s what makes him pretty awesome.” 

Faust has an estimated net worth of $2 million. According to a report from Hip-Hopvibe.com, she once had to take a pay cut of $150K for not bringing “enough drama” to the Love & Hip Hop show.

O’Neal’s Sneaker Ball

The 51st birthday celebration of Shaquille O’Neal was held at ‘The Bank’ in Atlanta. The party was named Shaq’s 51st Birthday Celebration The Sneaker Ball. As the name suggests guests were required to wear sneakers with their dresses. It was open to the general public as well.
