The NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal began his new weight loss and fitness regime a few months ago. The veteran star hit a roadblock when he got a hip replacement procedure last month and had to pause his fitness regime after making spectacular progress. Despite the surgery, Big Diesel could not be stopped for long and was already back to his busy lifestyle within a week of the procedure. Recently, Shaq made another surprising revelation that had fans going gaga over him.

Before beginning his weight loss journey, the former Lakers center weighed up to 415 pounds. The veteran icon had already lost nearly 40 pounds before his procedure and his latest update is inspiring millions across the globe.

The four-time NBA champion opened up a few weeks ago about his eccentric diet during his training days and how he had started to take his health and physical fitness a lot more seriously. Shaq revealed his inspiration to be scrolling through Instagram pictures of younger models.

Talking about his jealousy over the fitness levels of the younger generation, Shaq had also spoken about the regretful choices he made about his diet. Big Shaq has certainly used his jealousy as motivation and proved that he can achieve whatever he sets his mind to. While we are not sure if Shaq will be doing an underwear ad shoot with his sons, he certainly is looking fit to do so.
