The Philadelphia 76ers lead the series against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals. After getting overlooked for the award for the past two seasons, Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid has finally won the KIA MVP award. Embiid had the highest point production of his career so far this season.

The Process averaged 33.1 PPG, 10.2 RPG, and 1.7 BPG for the 2022-23 NBA season. Embiid even helped his team clinch the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 54-28 overall season record.

The entire team sat together as NBA Commissioner Adam Silver made the announcement. And as soon as the commissioner announced Embiid’s name, the seven-foot center could not hold back his emotions.
