James surpassed the Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s NBA All-Time scoring record on the Tuesday night game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. James scored the historic point in the third quarter of the game amid a star-studded arena. Even though the monumental achievement took the limelight, the Lakers coach, Darvin Ham, made a brutal statement after the Thunder game. Additionally, a shocking LeBron James stat triggered harsh opinions from fans on Twitter.
Even though James had a colossal night, he failed to lead his team to victory. The Lakers succumbed to a 130-133 loss against the Thunder. Most fans only anticipated James’ 36 points to break the record and failed to notice the team’s struggling performance. The purple and gold team is currently struggling as the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 25-30 record. Moreover, an appalling stat related to King James’ historic games left the fans in disbelief.

The Lakers’ coach Darvin Ham expressed his concerns over his team’s loss post the game. He said, “A lot of the times, the attention was all about trying to get Bron the record as opposed to just playing natural basketball.” Even though the coach’s statement wouldn’t match the energy of the happy James fans, it did resonate with several fans. Lebron James doesn’t care about winning anymore just stats you can tell by the effort plays and lack of defense. He’s still an all time great, most consistent player ever but hard to call him the goat based on his lack of effort for 48 minutes. Congrats!
