The four-time NBA champion posted about Mayweather on his Instagram story. Shaq seemed impressed with the boxer’s behavior as a star who gives back often. Notably, Mayweather spoke about the time a cancer patient had only one wish, to meet him. Hammond, a 10-year-old boy went to Mayweather’s gym where he met his idol. They took pictures and spent time together.

Moreover, the undefeated boxer also went out of his way to take him to Gamestop to buy any game he pleases. Furthermore, the formidable boxer couldn’t find words to write about Hammond when he wished to post a picture of them on his social media. Floyd Mayweather also revealed he had tears streaming down his eyes.

The 45-year-old boxer said: “Kid named Taylor. He has cancer. Kid said, ‘My only wish before I die is to meet Floyd Mayweather.'” He continued, “…And when I seen him, it brought tears to my eyes.”

Unfortunately, Hammond passed away in his battle at the age of 10.
