Recent reports have suggested that such a scenario is very much on the cards. As it turns out, the possibility of a Kevin Durant trade is looking very unlikely under the current circumstances.

On the other hand, the 76ers would have to sacrifice their core group of players. The Nets front office wouldn’t settle for anything less than a package consisting of Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey, Matisse Thybulle, and multiple first-round picks.

However, the inclusion of Durant on the 76ers roster beside Joel Embiid and James Harden would instantly make Philadelphia the favorites to win it all next year.
