Recently, he was even seen mourning the loss of a major fashion icon who met with a tragic vehicular accident. Shaq’s son joined millions in expressing his condolences for the legendary founder of a streetwear brand.

The world of fashion woke up to the brutal news that Chris Printup passed away on the morning of 28th June 2023. Printup founded the company ‘Born X Raised’ in 2010 and has since raised it into one of the most recognizable streetwear brands in the world. ‘Born X Raised’ represents the city of Los Angeles, and several models, including Myles, have been mourning its founder’s loss recently.

Just last year, Printup’s company dropped some fire collabs with the Los Angeles Lakers. The cultural fit between streetwear and basketball made the clothing line a hit. Spanto, as he’s lovingly referred to by his fans, left an indelible mark on the city of Angels.

Tragically, the fashion legend’s car crashed in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Sunday. He is survived by his wife and three children. Since the announcement on Wednesday, fans have expressed their condolences on social media.

It seems Printup also had a follower in the oldest son of Shaquille O’Neal.

Myles O’Neal took to Instagram to express his condolences to the Printup family. The 26-year-old gave an ode to the fashion legend and wrote, “Rest Easy OG.” Here are a few other heartfelt messages from fans who mourned the loss of the icon.
