The basketball community in the country is very closely knit. Even though there are some rivalries, players and coaches always extend their support to someone in need. Also, the community always tries to make someone’s special day even more special with their sincere messages. Recently, NBA superstar Stephen Curry and other basketball stars shared their heartfelt wishes to a former NBA star on his special day. One celebrity even called him “the second coming of Magic”. He was not joking.

Jamal Crawford recently celebrated his 43rd birthday and wishes poured in from everywhere. The Los Angeles Clippers legend had one of the best handles during his playing career and had defenders on skates.

Celebrities like Stephen Curry, Candace Parker, DeAndre Jordan, George Karl, and others wished Jamal Crawford on his special day via social media. Crawford shared some of the birthday messages he received on his Instagram handle. Stephen Curry had a simple message, “Happy Bday @Jamalcrawford“.

The three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year recently signed a contract with Warner Bros. Discovery to be an analyst in the popular NBA on TNT show. Candace Parker, who has worked with him on the show, shared a video clip of her pranking Crawford on the sets and wished him a happy birthday.

However, legendary head coach George Karl had the most interesting message via Twitter. Karl wished Crawford on his special day and said that he is proud to have known him. He then called him “the second coming of Magic” and lauded his achievements for the Seattle SuperSonics. Interestingly, Crawford did not play under the tutelage of Karl. However, it looks like the former head coach was impressed with his abilities.

Former Los Angeles Clippers teammate DeAndre Jordan shared an image of Crawford with his three Sixth Man of the Year awards and wrote, “Happy birthday realest. Love slim cutta! 6th man! Fanllllllly!!”. Notably, Crawford and Jordan formed a great partnership in Los Angeles. The two were integral reasons behind the team’s nickname “Lob City”.

Former NBA star Isiah Thomas also shared his heartfelt message to the sportscaster. Also, Crawford’s friends and family wished him on his 43rd birthday.

Crawford was a replacement for NBA legend Dwyane Wade for the NBA on TNT Tuesday show, alongside Adam Lefkoe, Shaquille O’Neal, and Candace Parker. He started off great, however, fans were not happy with one of his interesting takes.
