According to reports, Irving had a brief meeting with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. Apparently, the meeting went well as both parties had an “understanding”?chat about the franchise and Irving’s future.

Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving has not been the most liked NBA player in the last few weeks. The NBA champion attracted sever criticism after promoting a movie that was based on antisemitic beliefs. He managed to get himself in further trouble when he initially refused to back down from his stance and had a minor outburst during a media interview.

Following the incident, the franchise announced Irving’s suspension for at least five games. According to Charania, the team would not allow Irving to return to the team unless he completed several tasks given to him.

A majority of sports personalities and NBA analysts too called out Irving for his?comments and actions. Now that the seven-time All-Star has sat with the league commissioner for a chat, it would seem like things are finally getting better for Irving.

However, several NBA fans are skeptical about his future in the league. While some predicted that he would soon be joining former Los Angeles Lakers star Dwight Howard?in Taiwan, others suggested that he should be banned for lifetime.
