The Los Angeles Lakers decided to shake up their roster by trading away two of their guards. Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverley. Both were traded away before the trade deadline. Westbrook was sent to the Utah Jazz, while Patrick Beverley was traded to the Orlando Magic. Moreover, both players decided to play elsewhere. While Westbrook finalized a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, fans were not on board with Patrick Beverley’s decision.

Patrick Beverley revealed on his podcast that he was deciding which team to join between the Chicago Bulls and the Golden State Warriors. And it looks like the 34-year-old veteran point guard has made a decision.

On the ‘PatBev Podcast,’ Beverley revealed that he would sign with the Chicago Bulls. Beverley said, “I figured I can make a playoff push with the Bulls. Pump them up a little bit. I’m excited man. I get to rep my city on my chest. Sweet home Chicago.”

A Chicago native, it looks like Beverley will take his talents to Windy City. However, fans were not too thrilled about his decision. Given that he had a choice between the Bulls and the Warriors.

Did Beverley make the right choice?

Both the Golden State Warriors and the Chicago Bulls could use Beverley’s talents. Both teams are also short-handed at the point guard position due to their players suffering from injuries, they are kept off the floor.

The starting point guard for the Chicago Bulls, Lonzo Ball, still suffers from knee issues. Whereas Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry had just sustained a significant injury at the start of this month.

Now, most fans are calling out Beverley for not joining the Warriors. A team that has a better chance at winning another NBA championship. While others are glad he did not choose Golden State and decided to go with the Bulls instead.
