The well-known Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow has always had a strong passion for basketball. He’s known for his basketball prowess on many high-profile venues during his career. He’s grabbed the attention of many avid sports watchers and his fans. His love for basketball inspired him to take part in various basketball events, including the 2022 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and Bleacher Report’s 2021 Open Run. His commitment is pretty clear since he has also played many pickup games in Louisville, his hometown.

Harlow’s recent career endeavor is acting. He’s working on the adaptation of the movie “White Men Can’t Jump” which marks his debut in the field. Harlow was fit for the role since it revolves around basketball. However, his love for the sport also extends to women’s basketball as revealed by a 21-year-old LSU Star whose jersey Harlow had worn to a festival.

Hailey Van Lith is done with Louisville Cardinals

Hailey Van Lith recently justified her reason to join LSU after 3 short seasons with the Cardinals. Van Lith claimed in a recent interview that she decided because she wanted to put her happiness first. Despite her accomplishments at Louisville, she wasn’t enjoying life as a Cardinal. Van Lith had an outstanding junior season, scoring a career-high 19.7 points and 3.2 assists per game, helping Louisville reach the Elite Eight for the fifth consecutive year. She did, however, acknowledge having both extreme highs and lows throughout her time there. This motivated her to look for a better environment for herself.

Known for her fiercely competitive nature, Hailey Van Lith decided on LSU in late April after weighing her options. She’s now joining the defending national champions coached by Kim Mulkey. Despite the strong decision, she points out that she has no regrets about her time at Louisville. In fact, she recognizes the beneficial effect it had on her as a player and person.

Most recently, the 21-year-old appeared in an interview, talking about the influential figures in her life. To many’s surprise, it turns out she’s quite fond of Jack Harlow. In the interview, she also reveals Jack Harlow’s love for Women’s Basketball.

In the episode with Bleacher Report, Hailey talks about how it’s cool to be friends with Jack Harlow.

She says,” He did a lot for my program at Louisville and the team and the excitement around women’s basketball. Like he wore my jersey to a festival and I feel like he’s really like bought into women’s basketball.” She also adds, “It’s been cool to see him invest in that way and be okay with shedding some light on us. But no he’s been super awesome. I just love like you know whenever I get to see him or I’ve been to a concert of his before and all that and I think he’s a great friend who’s just like willing to give.”
With a constant smile on her face, she continues, “And I think a lot of people you know all those personalities and friendships that I have with other big stars, a lot of people don’t always see that side of them. I think it’s just like it’s cool for me to genuinely experience that and be like, you know, these are great people who always want to give back and help build other people up.”
