Michael Jordan had a successful NBA career where he tasted a lot of success. He won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls, which includes two three-peats. He has found success off the court as well since his retirement and established himself as a successful businessman. However, throughout his whole career as a player and as a businessman, his family has been very supportive of him. He married Juanita Vanoy in 1989. Juanita supported him through thick and thin and saw him lift six championships with the Chicago Bulls.

Juanita and Michael have three children, sons Jeffrey and Marcus, and daughter, Jasmine. However, their marriage wasn’t perfect, and the couple filed for a divorce in 2002 due to irreconcilable differences between them. However, the two quickly reconciled before filing for divorce again four years later.

Despite their differences, they had a good relationship later on. Michael Jordan’s daughter, Jasmine, once claimed that he wouldn’t have had the career he had without Juanita.

MJ’s eldest daughter, Jasmine, once revealed in a 2020 interview that impact her mother had on her father’s remarkable career. During the interview, she discussed being the daughter of the basketball great. She was asked about her mother Juanita, and her importance in the Jordan family.

“When you look at myself and my brothers, we really wouldn’t be who we are if it wasn’t for my mom,” Jasmine answered.

She continued: “And I feel like my father would say the same. He wouldn’t be the man he is today or have had the career he had without the support and love that my mother gave him during that time. She’s the foundation for all of us and there’s no way of denying that.”

Michael Jordan is currently happily married to Cuban-American model Yvette Preito and has twin daughters with her. But despite that, MJ has been a great father to Marcus, Jeffrey, and Jasmine. Jordan’s daughter, Jasmine gave birth to a son in 2019, which made Michael Jordan a grandfather.

Jasmine made Jordan a grandfather in 2019 when she welcomed her son, Rakeem, into the world. Jordan made quite a name for himself as the fiercest competitor. However, when it comes to being a grandpa, he is ‘soft’, according to Jasmine.
