Playoff Jimmy Butler doesn’t care what you think about his team! The 33-year-old is set for redemption against the Boston Celtics this season. Clinching the 8th seed after nerve-wracking games in the play-in tournament, the 6-time All-Star turned things around for the Miami Heat in the postseason. With a 4-1 win against the first-seed Bucks and a 4-2 win against the New York Knicks, Butler has led his team to the Conference Finals. 

The Heat forward revealed he is unfazed by whoever fans pick to win. The Miami Heat defied all odds previously and Butler believes they will do it again this series as well.

Jimmy Butler secured 35 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds to destroy the Celtics in game 1, that too at their home. Overcoming a 13-point deficit, the Heat dismantled Jayson Tatum and Co late in the second half, which led to frustration among the Celtics. Following the huge road win, Butler decided to show his wrath to the people who did not believe in him and the Heat.

When asked if he thought it was possible to make it to the ECF after struggles in the play-in, the 2015 MIP replied, “Damn right, I did. Damn right, we did”.

Now Butler wants to redeem himself. Missing the championship by just a few wins after several attempts, the 6’7 forward has a fire in him this time. Clearly, Butler wants his first ring really bad this year.
