The Golden State Warriors are not in a good spot right now. They recently lost their third consecutive game, as they fell to the Miami Heat. Again, the main issue seemed to be on the defensive end. The Warriors came into the game on the back of two straight defeats. But Klay Thompson was set to return, and the Warriors were hopeful they can address some of the issues that have been plaguing them. However, they failed to hold on to multiple leads as the Heat clawed back into the game and sealed it in the end.

But NBA fans were going nuts over the reaction of Jordan Poole. The star, who signed a $140 million contract extension recently, had a tough game as he finished with just 9 points on 3-10 shooting. And then he was called for multiple travels in the game. After he was called for his third travel of the game, he mocked the ref behind his back. The cameras caught it clearly and fans went nuts.

Both the Warriors and the Miami Heat came into the game with a lot of questions. The Warriors’ defensive and the Heat’s offensive struggles were well noted. But Jimmy Butler had proclaimed before the game that he doesn’t care that they started 2-5.

The game was a back-and-forth affair, as both teams failed to build a huge lead. At the half, the difference was just 2 points. As the third quarter started, the Warriors looked like they were gonna pull away as they built a 10-point lead. But the Heat fought back in the fourth and they held the Golden State Warriors to just 15 points. They opened a lead for themselves and held on until the final whistle.

Max Strus led all scorers with 24 points as he came off the bench again while Jimmy Butler added 23 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds. For the Warriors, it was Stephen Curry again leading the way with 23 points, while Thompson had 19.
