The Atlanta Hawks are currently settled in the middle of the Eastern Conference. With an evenly split record of 16-16 so far this season, the Hawks come in the eighth position in the East. After the addition of All-Star Dejounte Murray from the San Antonio Spurs, the Hawks would have likely expected a better record to date.?But now, it seems as if the team?s main star, Trae Young might be involved in a trade soon.

According to rival executives, Trae Young would be the next player on a rookie max extension to request a trade if the team doesn’t make inroads come the post-season. While the Hawks probably wouldn?t be considered a team that is struggling right now, they arguably have yet to live up to expectations this season.?

Is Trae Young moving on from the Hawks?

At first, one might think that fans would want Young to stay with the Hawks. But it seems to be the other way around with some fans slamming Young on social media.?

Many fans suggested that Young is “overrated”, while others seemed happy at the prospect of the two-time All-Star leaving Atlanta.

Recently, Trae Young and the Hawks’ head coach were not on the same page and did not see eye to eye. While that incident has since been written off, however, the tension might still be there.?
