NBA superstar Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets had a poor season last year. Expectations were high with superstars Kyrie Irving, Ben Simmons, and Kevin Durant in the lineup. However, the fans and the team were left disappointed as the Nets lost the first round of playoffs to the Boston Celtics. To add insult to the loss, it was a comfortable sweep for the NBA finalists, the Celtics. Ben Simmons ended up not playing a single minute for the Nets. After the season ended, Irving and Durant promised to come back to the Nets next season.

It looks like the Warriors fans are not willing to welcome KD due to the demands of the Nets.

Kevin Durant for the Golden State Warriors

During his time with the Warriors, KD helped the Warriors win back-to-back NBA titles in 2017 and 2018. And he did that with his short stay of just three years. While Curry took a back seat, Durant led the Warriors as he won the Finals MVP award on both occasions. In the 2016-17 playoffs, Durant averaged 28.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. In the 2017-18 playoffs, he averaged 29 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.

But KD’s time with the Warriors came to an end after a reported bust-up between him and Draymond Green. However, Durant and Green have made peace and are still close friends. Even though KD is not in his prime, he still possesses the ability to make any team better. And he would be deadly with the Warriors who are the reigning champions.
